Seva
“Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu”
“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”
Seva is a word meaning “service”. This service is performed to benefit other individuals, or society as a whole, without any expectation of result or award for performing it.
In the spirit of our studio mantra, Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu, we invite our community at Sweet Lotus to join us in the performance of Seva to benefit local organizations and causes.
Each quarter we will choose a recipient of our service, and as a studio we will organize and suggest ways to help the chosen organization, group, or cause.
